Our Palomino Wood Crafter Kit is one example of our efforts to produce quality value added products that increase the utilization of our raw materials and reduce waste in our manufacturing processes. Produced from the waste stream of our pencil slat production, this 100% natural Genuine Incense-cedar product provides a high quality arts and crafts alternative to typical wood craft kits utilizing thinner plywood containing adhesives and other chemical treatments. As the original inventor of Duraflame firelogs in 1969, our parent company set an early standard for full utilization of all wood byproduct and since then both CalCedar and Duraflame, now independent, but related family companies have continued to innovate new and improved products with improved environmental performance.
