Pencils.com always has big ideas in the works to bring you great pencils. We have top-quality brands available like General's, Golden Bear, and of course the Palomino.
Though Palomino is our flagship brand (and is the centerpiece of our big promotion theme this month!), we tend to see it as an indicator of quality just as much as it is a brand. Like Cadillac, which is often referred to as the standard to which other products are measured ("That 50" Plasma HD TV is the Cadillac of televisions", for example), our Palomino stands for the highest quality of dark, strong graphite, pure California Incense-cedar woodcasing, and a quality, effective eraser.

We have a project in the works that will allow customers to design their own private label, Palomino-quality pencil. Check out this Duraflame pencil for an example (apologies for the poor photo quality — better images are coming soon). We don't know when we'll be ready to unveil it, but this is so exciting, we had to give you a preview now.
What's the difference between a Private Label pencil and a custom imprint pencil?
Basically, it comes down to quantity, quality, and options.
- Quantity: If you're just looking for 3 or 4 gross of pencils with your name on it, or customized for a birthday party or wedding, this isn't for you. This option would be best for someone who was looking for more like 100 gross (that's more than 14,000 pencils!).
- Quality: As we said before, these private label pencils are Palomino-quality, and therefore we'll need to take an active role in monitoring the supply chain, the manufacturing process, and the successful implementation of your vision. Although that doesn't come cheaply, we know we'll be able to offer a competitive price. Best yet, you'll be getting our unrivaled customer service. We're a small operation, which means we take measures to keep you happy.
- Options: Want your pencil to be stained a certain color? Need to match a specific Pantone color? Want to choose your eraser or ferrule color? Have a special design you want foilstamped on the barrel? We'll have a near-limitless number of ways you can configure your pencils. Just check out this Duraflame pencil for an example.
So stay tuned for more information, and in the meantime, why don't you head over to the store to buy a few of these Duraflame pencils to check it out?
