Best sharpener I have ever used, hands down.
I was honestly stunned by how great this sharpener was. I saw the reviews on Amazon and other various website and thought it was ridiculous that a bloody pencil sharpener could garner so much respect. But, lo and behold, it deserves all the praise it receives.
I have never used a sharpener that produces consistently such a precise, strong, and effective point. With any other hand sharpener, there's always the chance of oversharpening until the damn pencil breaks, a chance taken just to make sure the point is sharp. This, the wondrous contraption it is, has an automatic brake which prevents such an issue. And the second sharpening stage refines the point to utter aesthetic perfection.
Simply put, the KUM sharpener is a must-have for any pencil owner. Once you use this, you will see no use for any other device meant to create a sharp pencil. Admissibly, the KUM has a habit of almost devouring pencils. However, I think that such a thing is greatly worth it considering the incredible quality and enjoyableness of the resulting pencil point.
