The hype is justified
Extremely dark, smooth pencils - a joy to draw with, and if you don't mind sharpening a lot, a joy to write with. Great finish, very distinct design, fun to write with, hold, sharpen, and is sure to grab attention in the office or university. The only minus is that it doesn't keep its point for long, and so doesn't last for long. But well, well worth the price. Great gift for an artist
