What is it?

The Humorous Holidays Artist Contest is an artwork contest on Pencils.com. The theme of the contest is “Humorous Holidays,” so you can draw anything about the holidays that is funny. For example, you could draw a silly picture of Santa, a snowball fight, or even grandpa riding a reindeer! The choice is yours. This includes all holidays, not just Christmas or New Years. You can do Thanksgiving, Halloween, or any other holiday!

Grand Prize WinnerTHIS CONTEST IS RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS IN THE STOCKTON/SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY AREA IN COLLABORATION WITH SCHOOLS IN THIS LOCAL AREA. The contest is a collaboration between Pencils.com and the University of the Pacific to encourage participation in the arts in a fun and exciting way.

We're looking for WoodChuck pencil character drawings supporting this month's theme:

"Thinking Outside the Box"

Please have your students or child (if a parent) use his or her imagination to present drawings of the creative means our comic hero WoodChuck solves an interesting problem or challenging situation that a child might come up against in the classroom, on the play ground, at home, in an organized sports activity, etc.
